Conveyancing Solicitor (Minimum 3 Years PQE)
Location: Harrow
We are working with a well-established law firm in Harrow who are looking to appoint an experienced and motivated Conveyancing Solicitor to join their growing property team.
This role offers the opportunity to manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to post-completion, with some exposure to light commercial property work. You will be client-facing, hands-on and supported by an experienced team, delivering a high standard of service throughout the transaction process.
Key Responsibilities

Manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including:

Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases

Remortgages and transfers of equity

New build and Help to Buy transactions

Handle light commercial property matters, such as:

Leases for small retail units or office premises
-
Commercial sales or purchases (typically under £1m)

Draft, review and negotiate contracts and associated documentation

Carry out title investigations and raise/respond to enquiries

Liaise closely with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors to ensure smooth progression of matters

Provide regular updates to clients and manage expectations throughout the conveyancing process

Deal with post-completion matters, including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications

Ensure compliance with CQS, AML and regulatory requirements

Maintain accurate records using case management systems and digital conveyancing tools
Skills & Experience Required

Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE in residential conveyancing

Proven experience managing a conveyancing caseload independently

Exposure to light commercial property work is advantageous but not essential

Strong technical knowledge of residential conveyancing procedures

Excellent communication and client care skills

Highly organised with strong attention to detail
